Guides - Booking of services with a customer-determined time

As all other services, services with a customer-determined time can be booked by customers online. However, the customer's options at the page at which the time of the booking must be chosen are different from other services.



The customer can see which time periods are booked and which are available. The time period that is shown is determined under the settings of the service (See Settings for more information).

The times that are shown as 'Closed', are time periods in which working hours have not been created. The time periods that have been booked by another customer are by default shown as being ‘Booked'. However, you can also show the name of the customer who has made the booking or the name of the customer group to which the customer in question belongs. This could be used if the service represents an internal resource, e.g. a meeting room, and the customers should be able to switch appointments among themselves. You can determine what to show under ‘Advanced settings' -> ‘Front-end' -> Choose time of day – Customer-determined time' (See the guide Main guide for more information).

The service is booked via quick book like all other services – The time period(s) that should be booked are ticked and then ‘Book time' is pressed.
