With GECKO Booking you have many opportunities for tailoring your booking system exactly to your needs. However, it is not necessary to acquaint yourself with all of these opportunities right away. Instead, you should just focus on the two main elements to begin with:

1. Create services: You need to create the services that you want to offer to your customers.
   The services could be e.g. massage, hair colouring, or therapy depending on the type of business you are in. See Create services for more information.
2. Create at least one calendar with working hours: You need to create a calendar that the services can be booked in and a time interval in which the services can be booked – so-called working hours.
   See Create a calendar with working hours for more information.

The guide item 'Getting started' will focus on the most basic things in regards to creating services and calendars. When you have done the things listed in this guide item, you have already started using the booking system and your customers can book appointments online.
