Customer groups

In GECKO Booking, you can create multiple customer groups. These customer groups will have different customer databases, where you can create working hours and different services separately for each group. In addition, many settings can be edited separately. Having multiple customer groups is often used if you have corporate customer agreements where you offer a service to the employees of a company e.g. at a special price and at a special time. Customer groups can also be used if your company is divided between multiple locations and you want to keep the locations separate in the booking system. 

However, for many companies it is not necessary to have multiple customer groups besides the one group created by default. For more information about customer groups and corporate customer agreements see Corporate Customer Agreements

By pressing the menu item 'Customers' you will be transferred to the customer group overview. At the top of the page you can see a list of all created customer groups. 

On this list you can see and change the names of the customer groups. If you only have one customer group, the name of the customer group will often be the name of your company. In addition to changing the name, you can:

At the top of the page you can also create a new customer group by entering a name for the customer group and clicking on 'Create customer group'. The customer group has been created, and can be viewed on the list. Remember to change the settings of the customer group so they match your needs.
