Guides - Configuration of receipt printer in Mozilla Firefox (Mac)

If you have a Mac, you need to use Mozilla Firefox if you want the receipt printer to work optimally. 

In order to configure your receipt printer in Internet Explorer, start by opening your internet as you normally would. Then, write "about:config" in the address space (without quotation marks) and press enter. 

Next, you will see a warning page. Here, you need to press 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you will be able to change the settings of your receipt printer. 

Then, write "print.print" (again without the quotation marks) in the search field. 

Now you need to change the following values: 

print.print_footercenter = blank (no value)
print.print_footerleft = blank (no value)
print.print_footerright = blank (no value)
print.print_headercenter = blank (no value)
print.print_headerleft = blank (no value)
print.print_headerright = blank (no value)

This is done by opening the editing module. You do that by double clicking on each line.  

If you have done the above-mentioned, you can now get Firefox to print directly in stead of showing a window, in which you need to click on 'Print'. This is done with the follwing:

print.always_print_silent = true
