Mail merge
GECKO Booking allows you to create letter merge templates. These are letter templates that you can merge to your customers. The smart thing about this is that these templates can be retrieved and used different places in the system. These places are the customer profile under 'Active reservations', under 'Customers' -> Show bookings' and 'Customers' -> 'Marketing'. Here there will be a clear 'Letter merge' button that you can press to make use of this feature. You create the letter templates by going to 'Settings' -> 'Mail merge'. Here you shall state the name of the template and press 'Create'. Next, you will be able to edit the template further. You can i.a. choose the font, font size, format and margin.' In the actual template you create the layout of the letter. It will be possible to divide the letter merge templates into more parts, so that you e.g. can print three agreement cards on the same A4 paper. This is done by using <page_start> and <page_finish> around the part where you insert the substitution codes with the information you want. Each part can be created with its own special layout. <page_start> <page_start> <page_start> The creation of the letter templates is done in HTML.
