Automatic data clean-up
Automatic data clean-up enables you to install different automatic processes that delete old data from the system. Remember that depending on your business and the type of data, there might be specific rules that you need to follow. The features below will delete the data permanently and it can not be recreated. Under 'Delete record data automatically' you have two different options. If you choose to put a tick in 'All record data' both active and archived data will be deleted. If you choose the other 'Archived data' only archived data will be deleted. ' In both cases you need to state x number of months opposite 'Older than'. The number of months stated under 'All record data' will mean that the all data older than the stated number will be deleted. The same applies for 'Archived record data'. The number of months is by default stated as 60 e.g. five years. You can of course change this as you wish. Before you will be able to complete the deletion, you will need to confirm the changes. See more below. |
Since the abovementioned is about permanent deletion of a great amount of data, you will need to enter your super administrator username and password, before the deletion will be completed. Enter this opposite 'Username' and 'Password' and put a tick in 'Yes, I confirm that the chosen data is deleted permanently'. The chosen data will now be deleted. |
