Texts
You can personalise GECKO Booking by editing the texts that are shown to your customers. GECKO Booking can therefore be tailored to your company and your needs. By choosing 'Texts' located under the menu item 'Settings', the page below appears. By pressing the arrow in the grey bar, you can see and change all texts in the chosen category. All texts have a description that describes where the text can be found. However, you can also move the pointer over the blue 'i'. By doing so, a screenshot appears of where the text is located. If you want to change the text, press ‘Edit' opposite the text you want to change. |
When you have chosen to edit a text, you will be transferred to a page containing a text editor. The original text will be shown in the text space and you have the option of changing it. The text editor works the same way as Microsoft Word. If the text you have chosen to edit is an e-mail, you also have the option of changing the subject of the e-mail. When writing the text, you can use substitution codes. Substitution codes are codes you write in the text, e.g. [CUSTOMERNAME], that are replaced by something else in the e-mail/SMS the customer receives - in this case the name of the customer. In order to view a list of all substitution codes see Substitution codes. If you have made any changes to the text that is inserted by default, a button will appear in the top right corner that will enable you to reset the text. By pressing this button, the text you have entered will be deleted, and the standard text will be inserted instead. |

Please note! If you have activated the feature enabling you to edit texts in multiple languages, you will see multiple versions of the same text. For instance, if you have activated both Danish and English, you will be able to edit a Danish and an English version of the same text. You can activate this feature under ‘Advanced settings' -> ‘Display' -> ‘Display settings' (See Display. Display settings for more information] |
At this page you can change a number of small texts, fonts, and colours. The headlines of the different tabs indicate where the texts are shown. The screenshot only shows a small portion of the texts you can edit. |
