Guides - LKT Record

LKT Record

GECKO Bookings LKT Record feature enables you to create records specifically designed for your needs as a dental technician. Before you can use the system for record keeping, it must be set up according to your needs. The following must be done:

  • Settings: You must enter your information in the system, thereby enabling the system to insert this information automatically on your referrals and estimates (See LKT Record settings for more information).
  • Create treatments for use in the continuation: You must create the treatments you want to insert in the continuation (See Create new treatment for more information).
  • Create municipalities: You must create the municipalities in which your customers live, thereby enabling the system to address the estimates to them (See Debtor overview for more information about how to create debtors). When you have created the municipalities, you can choose one of them in the customer's record, thereby linking a municipality to the customer.
  • Create items for use in estimates: You must create the items you want to use in your estimates  (See Items for more information). If you have many items, it can be an advantage to start by creating item groups in which the items are then created (See Item groups for more information).
  • Create dentists: You must create your customers' dentists as contacts, thereby enabling the system to insert their information on your estimates and records. When you have created the dentists in the system, you can choose one of them on the customer's profile, thereby linking a dentist to the customer (See Contacts for more information about contacts). If you want to note e.g. which caseworkers your customers have, you can create them as contacts as well.
  • Create services that can be booked: As all other users of the booking system, you must create the services that can be booked by you and your customers, e.g., 'First appointment' or 'Checkup' (See Create services for more information). You determine whether you want to offer online booking to your customers, but if you want to use the automatic rebooking reminders, it is important that you remember to make a booking for the customer on the day (s)he received a treatment (See Automatic rebooking reminder for more information about how automatic rebooking reminders work). If you want to insert your services in your estimates, you must link an item number to them. This is done under the settings of each service (See Settings for more information).
  • Create calendars in which bookings can be made: As all other users of the booking system, you must create the calendars in which bookings can be made and the working hours in which bookings can be made in the calendars (See Create a calendar with working hours for more information).
  • Import customers: If you have a customer database in an electronic format such as Excel, you can import the customer information to the system (See Import customers for more information).

You are now ready to start using the system for bookings and record keeping. You create a LKT Record for a customer on the customer's profile (See Create LKT Record for more information).

Please note! The LKT Record featurerequires that the Record Add-On has been purchased as an encrypted line is necessary when you store sensitive information. If you want to manage your payments in the system, the Cash Register Add-On must also be purchased.
