Create new service addition

If you want to enable your customers to purchase something when they book a certain service, you can create a service addition. Service additions can be services, items or the like. You can access your service additions from the service overview by pressing ‘Show' under the column ‘Service addition' opposite the service you want to view service additions for. If you have not created any service additions, you will be transferred to the following page. 

Before you can create any service additions, you must create a least one service addition group. Enter the name of the group, e.g. 'Massage additions', and press 'Create group'. The group has now been created! When the group has been created, you have the option of creating a new service addition.


In order to create a new service addition, enter the name of the service addition. This could be haircut, massage oil or the like. Please note that the name you write here is the name that the customer can see, when (s)he books the service addition.

You then need to choose which group to create the service addition in and the price of the service addition. In addition, you need to enter the duration of the services addition, book in calendar. It is very important that you choose the correct time as it is here you tell the system how long to book when the service addition is booked. If the service addition is an item or something similar, 0 minutes is chosen. Under ‘The customer sees' you have the option of determining what duration the customer should see when (s)he wants to book the service addition. You can use this feature to provide a tiny break between different customers by e.g. booking 60 minutes for the service addition but show to the customer that the service lasts 55 minutes. Thereby you have 5 minutes in which you can get ready for the next customer. On the other hand, you can enter a longer treatment time under ‘The customer sees' if you treat the customer for e.g. 10 minutes, but the customer has to stay for 15 additional minutes.

Finally, you have to choose whether the service addition should be offered on all calendars or if you want to activate the service addition manually on the calendars that offer it. Manual activation is used in a company with multiple employees (with one calendar per employee) where some employees cannot perform the service addition. In this case you should choose ‘No, I'll do it manually', and then activate the service addition on the calendars that should offer it (For more information about manual activation see Settings). On the other hand, if all employees can perform the service addition, it should be offered on all calendars.

Press ‘Create service addition' and the service addition has been created! You will now be transferred to the service addition overview.

When you have created at least one service addition, e.g. copied your services to service additions, you will now be transferred to the service addition overview by pressing 'Show' under the column 'Service additions' (See Service addition overview for more information). Service additions and service addition groups can be created here by following the same procedure as explained above.
