Guides - Simple daily view

Simple daily view

The simple daily view provides you with an overview of one particular day. You can view both available times and booked appointments. You can choose whether to view a single calendar or all calendars at once.

Colours
In the simple daily view, different colours indicate the status of the time:

  • Orange: The customer has booked the appointment online.
  • Red: Staff has booked the appointment for the customer via quick book or directly in the calendar.
  • Yellow: Staff has booked the appointment via quick book or directly in the calendar, but no customer has been attached to the booking.
  • Green: Available working hours that have not yet been booked.
  • Blue: Class or course booking made either by staff or customer.
  • Grey: Past working hours or bookings.

Symbols
At booked times, you will in the colored box see the following symbols, which gives you the following options:

Go to the specific booking: View information about the booking and, if desired, make changes to the booking. If it is the first booking the customer had made, the figure one will be shown in the symbol. See Specific booking for more information.

Go to customer: View information about the customer. See Customer information for more information.
  •  
Contact: Contact the customer. See Contact customer for more information.
  •  

Go to the cash register: Get transferred to the cash register in order to pay for the service. If the service has already been paid for, you can see a ‘paid'-symbol. By pressing this, you can view the receipt. Please note that this requires the purchase of the Cash Register Add-on.

Change the status of the booking: Change the status of the booking, if this feature has been activated. See Booking status for more information.

Print appointment card: Print an appointment card, if this feature has been activated. See Appointment card for more information.

  •  

Important information: If the customer wrote a message when making the booking or if a note has been written in the 'Important note' space on the customer's profile, this icon will be shown in the booking box.

Online payment: If a shopping cart appears on the booking, the booking has been paid for online. If the shopping cart is green, the payment has been received, whereas a red cart indicates that the full payment has not yet been received. By pressing the icon, you will be transferred to the online order. Please note that this requires that the Online Payment Add-On.

Missing customer information: If this icon is shown, information is missing about the customer. Please note that this feature must be activated under the advanced settings. See Back-end. Check for missing customer information for more information.

Satisfaction score: If you use satisfaction surveys, you will be able to see the customer's last satisfaction score. Please note that the use of satisfaction surveys requires the Questionnaire Add-On.

Debtor balance: Receivable: If you use debtors, you will be able to see whether the customer is attached a debtor with a receivable. Please note that this requires the Cash Register Add-On.

Debtor balance: Outstanding: If you use debtors, you will be able to see whether the customer is attached a debtor with an outstanding. Please note that this requires the Cash Register Add-On.

 

Under 'Advanced settings' you have the opportunity to choose which data appears when you hover the mouse over the bookingen and what information is to be displayed in the booking box (see Back-end. Calendar views for more information).

 

Next to all calendar names you have the option of printing the daily view of this calendar and writing a date-specific note on this calendar. You can choose whether this note should be public (visible for all customers making online bookings) or internal (only visible for you and your staff). A public date-specific note can be used for e.g. special offers or information you want your customers to be aware of.

 

How to book an appointment for a customer
By clicking on a calendar name you can book appointments for a customer and close/open working hours on the chosen day and calendar only. See Date elaborated for more information.

If you want to view a different date, you can choose the date and, if desired, a calendar in the drop-down box at the top of the page. You can also view adjacent dates by using the arrows '«' and '»'.

Reload
The page is automatically reloaded every five minutes. You can also, at the bottom left side, update directly by clicking on the 'Now' button. This can be an advantage if your computer sits for longer periods of time without being used. By removing the tick in the box 'Show empty calendars?', only calendars with working hours on the chosen date are shown.
