Guides - Discount groups

In GECKO Booking, you can create discount groups to which you can add selected customers. The members of these discount groups are given a discount on the items or item groups you have chosen to give a discount on. You determine how much discount to give. Discount groups can be created under the menu item ‘Cash register' -> ‘Settings'.

At the top of the page, you can create a new discount group. Enter the name of the discount group and press 'Create discount group'. The discount group has now been created! You will automatically be transferred to a page at which you can change the settings of the discount group, e.g. determine how much discount the group should be given (See Edit discount group for more information).

At the top of the page you can see a list of all the discount groups you have created. By ticking ‘Active' and then ‘Update list', you can activate the discount group. By pressing ‘Edit' opposite the desired discount group, you can edit the settings of the discount group (See Edit discount group for more information).

Remember to make customers members of the discount group.

You can add a customer to a discount group on the customer profile of the customer in question. The customer profile can be accessed when you choose the customer in the customer database. At this profile, you can see the discount groups you have created and choose which discount groups the customer should be a member of.

Remember to press 'Update' in order to save any changes!
