Guides - Stock

Stock

In GECKO Booking you have the option of activating the use of a stock that enables you to keep track of your items easily. The system automatically records when an item is sold via the cash register and you therefore avoid having to update your stock manually. Please note that the use of a stock must be activated under ‘Advanced settings' -> ‘Back-end' -> ‘Stock' (See the guide Main guide for more information).

You can see a list of all your cash registers. By default, each cash register has a separate stock, but under ‘Advanced settings' you can choose that all cash registers should use the same stock. This could be used if the two cash registers are at the same location.

You have the following options:

  • Name: You can see the name of the cash register to which the stock is linked.
  • Reorder list: In GECKO Booking, you have the option of setting how many copies of each item you always want to have in stock. When less than this amount remains, the item will automatically be added to a reorder list. You can thereby easily see which items you should reorder. See Reorder lists for more information.
  • Value: You can see the value of the stock. See Stock value for more information.
  • Add item: You have the option of adding items to the stock. This could be used if you have purchased new items or after you have done a stock status. See Add item to stock for more information.
